You’re Not Alone — Hope and Healing Start Here

Becoming a parent brings emotional, physical, and hormonal changes that can feel overwhelming. If you’re experiencing sadness, anxiety, irritability, or disconnection during pregnancy or after birth, you’re not failing. You may be experiencing a very common and treatable condition known as a Perinatal Mood or Anxiety Disorder (PMAD).

At Hope Clinic for Women, we provide compassionate, professional counseling to help you regain stability, confidence, and joy.

What Are PMADs?

PMADs are emotional, hormonal, and psychological challenges that can occur during pregnancy and up to one year postpartum. They affect 1 in 5 women and 1 in 10 partners, making them the most common complication of childbirth.

Common PMADs include:

  • Postpartum Depression (PPD)
  • Postpartum Anxiety & Panic Disorder
  • Perinatal/Postpartum OCD
  • Birth Trauma / PTSD
  • Postpartum Rage
  • Peripartum Depression during pregnancy
  • Postpartum Bipolar Mood Episodes
  • Baby Blues (common, but short-term and less severe)

You do not have to “wait it out” or manage this alone. With help, recovery is absolutely possible.
